The ALLOTMENTS: Farm Process V4 Allotment Options pane is used to activate the allotment options in the Farm Process in MODFLOW-OWHM version 2 and specify surface water or groundwater allotments for it. It is in the Farm Process group on the MODFLOW Packages and Programs dialog box.
The Farm Allotment dialog box is only used with MODFLOW-OWHM version 1. It is not used with MODFLOW-OWHM version 2.
Both Surface Water Allotment and Groundwater Allotment can be static or transient. Both are specified in the Water Balance Subregions dialog box. There are three options for how the allotments are specified.
•RATE (L3/T) volumetric rate limit.
•VOLUME (L3) per stress period.
•HEIGHT (L) per stress period - multiplied by water balance subregion irrigated area to get volume per stress period.
Use of VOLUME or HEIGHT will cause incorrect model input if ModelMuse inserts additional stress periods because some boundary conditions are defined at times that do not correspond to the times defined in the MODFLOW Time dialog box..
