STOB: Stream Observation Package Pane

The STOB package is used to compare observed flows at stream reaches with simulated flows computed by MODFLOW using the Stream (STR) package . The pane for this package is on the MODFLOW Packages and Programs dialog box under Observations.

Checking the checkbox associated with the STOB package is only possible if the STR package is activated. Once activated, the user can enter comments regarding the STOB package. The observations of flow at stream cells are specified in the Manage Flow Observations dialog box.

The MODFLOW Listing file will contain a list of the observed values and the simulated equivalents.
