RVOB: River Observation Package Pane

The RVOB package is used to compare observed flows at rivers with simulated flows computed by MODFLOW. The pane for this package is on the MODFLOW Packages and Programs dialog box under Observations.

Checking the checkbox associated with the RVOB package is only possible if the RIV package is activated. Once activated, the user can enter comments regarding the RVOB package. The observations of flow at river cells are specified in the Manage Flow Observations dialog box.

The MODFLOW Listing file will contain a list of the observed values and the simulated equivalents.
