1990 Block Group Boundaries

The coverage contains no demographic information; it provides only the GENERALIZED BOUNDARIES of block groups. Each block group is identified by a field (BGI) composed of state, county, tract, and block group number. This identifier is used to link the block group polygons with statistical data such as 1990 total population.

Full resolution TIGER/Line versions of 1990 block group boundaries are available for states and for some NAWQA study units (1994s).
