FY02 Sampling Guidance

FY02.CycleII.SW.Guidance outlines the general guidance for surface water (chemical and biological) sites and contains a link to the surface water design documentation for Cycle II Surface Water Trends and Status Assessment - revised 5/18/01, 6/21/01, 6/26/01, 9/17/01, 10/17/01, 10/25/01, 11/26/01, 2/01/02, 2/05/02, 2/14/02. This link contains specific information on the type of sampling (agricultural, integrator, etc.) and supporting information such items as analytical costs, sampling frequency, and analytical schedule number.

The FY02.SWPLAN is different from previous years surface water planning database in that it combines both the HIP and Trend/LIP information; divides the required site information into cycle level (static over 10 years) and annual level (updated each sampling year); and requests sampling information for all required and optional analytes and respective QC's. The "general_instructions" worksheet indicates the worksheet(s) that need to be completed by each group of study units as part of the FY02 work plan.

FY02.CycleII.GW.Guidance outlines the general guidance for ground water networks and contains a link to the ground water design documentation for Cycle II Ground Water Trends and Status Assessment - revised 6/21/01, 6/29/01, 7/16/01, 10/17/01, 10/24/01, 2/01/02. This link contains specific information on both resampled and new status assessment networks and supporting information such items as analytical costs, sampling frequency, and analytical schedule number.

The FY02.GWPLAN (11/06/01) contains worksheets for both Cycle II GWPLAN and Cycle I GWPLAN. The Cycle II GWPLAN has been updated to reflect the changes in the GW Trends and Status Assessment. Specifically, new rows have been added to the Cycle II GWPLAN to correlate with the basic quality control requirements identified to date.

The FY02.GWTRENDS (11/06/01) contains information on all the Trend networks to date. The FY02.GWTRENDS has been updated to reflect the changes in the GW Trends and Status Assessment. Specifically, new columns have been added to the GWTRENDS to correlate with the basic quality control requirements identified to date.

Also, the SWPLAN, GWPLAN, and GWTRENDS files each contain a definitions worksheet that should be used when entering the requested information.
