- Some folks live in areas without broadband can be left in a position where they need to turn off graphics!
- Audio rendering technology (browse web pages in your car).
- For the visually impaired, conversion to sound or Braille.
- UnSmart cellphones display web pages without graphics.
All of our information should be available to everyone.
- ImageMaps
- Use client-side imagemaps, and provide ALT text
for each shape.
- Graphics and ALT tags
- Use
lynx, a
text-only web browser, to assure that one can get all the
information and navigate the site without graphics.
