The number and operator buttons in the Formula Editor all work the same way: when the user clicks one of the buttons, the text displayed on the button will be inserted in the Formula text box at the position of the cursor. If any text in the formula is selected, it will be replaced. See Operators for more information on the meanings of the operators.
