The Initial Conditions pane is on the SUTRA Options dialog box.
Starting type (CREAD): SUTRA allows a simulation to read the initial conditions from the initial conditions file (cold start) or a previously saved restart file (warm start). A warm start is used to continue a previous simulation without any changes other than changing the time step size and increasing the simulation time.
Restart for warm start: This is the name of the restart file previously saved by SUTRA.
Frequency for saving restart file (ISTORE): ISTORE controls how frequently the restart file is saved. The file will be saved when the time step is an even multiple of ISTORE or on the last time step of the simulation. ISTORE can be set to 0 to never stave a restart file.
For a cold start, you can Read initial conditions from a restart file. You can read either pressure/head, concentration/temperature, or both from the restart file. This option can be useful for using a steady state model to generate initial conditions for a transient model. For this to work, you must specify the Restart file for initial conditions and the mesh must not have changed.
