This tab is on the SFR: Stream-Flow Routing package pane of the MODFLOW Features tab of the Object Properties dialog box. It is used to define gages at the beginning, end, or on every reach on streams. For each gage that is defined, a separate output file will be created containing data for that gage in every time step. The files will have the extension .sfrg[i].

The user selects whether the gages should be the first, last or all reaches in a segment.

If any of the checkboxes is checked, one or more gages will be defined for the stream. Unlike other packages, the Gage package is not activated through the MODFLOW Packages and Programs dialog box. Instead, if any gages are defined, the Gage package is activated.

For the unsaturated water content profiles, two profiles are printed. The first is the volume average water content of the Maximum number of cells to define unsaturated zone unsaturated cells beneath a stream reach. The second profile is the volume averaged water content beneath the low flow channel only. If Maximum number of cells to define unsaturated zone =1 then both water content profiles will be the same.

Gages for individual reaches along streams can be defined on the GAGE: for SFR Stream-Flow Routing Package Pane.
