The Comments/Captions tab is on the Object Properties dialog box.
If you want a caption displayed with an object, check the Visible check box in the caption section. If you do not specify the text of the label, the name of the object will be used as the caption. The X and Y offsets specify where the label should appear relative to the first visible vertex of the object. The X and Y offsets are measured in pixels. You can specify a font for the labels. If no font is specified, the default font for the system will be used.
Sometimes it is helpful to be able to see the vertex numbers or section number of an object. To display them, check the Vertex numbers visible check box or Section numbers visible check box. If the object has Vertex Values, those can be displayed too by selecting the appropriate Key under Vertex value labels .
Sometimes an object may be unusual in some way or do something that isn't obvious. Later on, you may not remember why it is set up the way it is. You can use the Comments field Comments/Captions tab to explain features that need explanation.
