Project Summary: This study will develop models to understand how land-based pollution affects Saipan's coastal waters and marine life. By combining watershed, ocean, and climate data, it will track how sediments, nutrients, and other pollutants move from land to sea. The research will identify pollution hotspots, assess ecological risks, and consider future impacts from climate change. Findings will help guide policies and management strategies to protect coral reefs and support long-term coastal sustainability.
