Project Summary: Lakes in Vermont and around the world face multiple environmental stressors such as land use intensification, climate change, and freshwater salinization as a result of the use of road salts; we propose to investigate whether a history of exposure to environmental stressors mediates the response of zooplankton communities to additional salt stress by combining field surveys and laboratory experiments
