Project Summary: This project investigates how water quality conservation practices in Iowa impact Anuran distribution. By analyzing existing data and collecting new data by deploying Automated Recording Units to record Anuran calls at nutrient treatment wetlands, we will assess the factors of these wetlands that support Anuran populations. This study aims to bridge the gap in knowledge on co-benefits for wildlife and water quality, ultimately informing policy and land management strategies in Iowa.
