Project Summary: Historic profile of Guam’s freshwater lens in the Northern Guam Lens Aquifer (NGLA) provides insight to the phreatic zone dynamics as influenced by recharge and sea level. These profiles are a time-series graph of deep observation wells (DOWs) in the NGLA. Eight DOW data of conductance, depth, and temperature have been collected and extracted and analyzed into timeseries graphs. The data tables are converted into a Java Script Object Notation (JSON), and the point features as DOW locations into GEO JSON file. The JSON database can be configured to work in an online interactive map and graph data visualization web application interface called MAppFx. These historic phreatic profiles of DOWs will be made available to the island’s water resources stake holders and researchers with ease, serving as a quick access and intuitive database system.
