Project Summary: An accurate quantification of the water budget (rain, flow in rivers, water in lakes, water consumed by plants, etc.) is crucial to advancing socioeconomic development. Using computer-based simulations, USGS and NCAR developed CONUS404, a dataset with information on the national water budget. This project will assess the accuracy of the information generated by CONUS404.
