Project Summary: The objectives of this research is develop a computation tool for flood inundation mapping that incorporates earth imagery spectral information and surface topography into an improved FIST (Flood Inundation Surface Topology) model. This enhancement will improve the accuracy of flood mapping and allow use of the model to large scales (floodplains).
