Project Summary: The four water resources research institutes in the Islands Region of the United States Geological Survey’s National Institutes for Water Resources program will convene a conference during November/December 2018. The conference will be a follow-up as part of the series established by the institutes and held in Honolulu November 2011 and again in Honolulu in December 2015 to provide a platform for discussion between water resources researchers, various water stakeholders, water managers and others on existing water resources issues facing tropical islands and those issues that are likely to develop in the future particularly due to the anticipated changes in climate. The research presented at the symposium will be published in a proceedings volume of the Journal of Contemporary Water Research and Education.
