Abstract: The four water resources research institutes in the Islands Region of the United States Geological Surveys National Institutes for Water Resources program will convene a conference in the territory of St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands during December 2017. The conference will be a follow-up as part of the series established by the institutes and held in Honolulu in November 2011 and again in December 2015, to provide a platform for discussion between water resources researchers, various water stakeholders and others on existing water resources issues facing tropical islands and those issues that are likely to develop in the future, particularly due to the anticipated changes in climate.
