Project Summary: The North Carolina’s Water Resources Research Institute (NCWRRI) will lead the development of the HABS fact sheet through relevant background research using USGS and NIWR databases focused specifically on 104g and 104b funded projects, individual Institute requests for specific information, individual researchers request for specific information, and other resources as needed. Additionally, NCWRRI will be responsible for developing relevant text, figures, and summary impacts on selected HABS investments from across selected NIWR Institutes. USGS, in partnership with NIWR will provide final formatting and design support, coordinate internal USGS content review to meet specifications of USGS publications, and final publication costs for broad dissemination.
