Project Summary: To determine the effectiveness of constructed wetlands on fluxes of nitrogen and sediment from tile outlet terrace (TOT) croplands in Kansas. The results from this study will provide recommendations as to the design and Best Management Practices (BMPs) of constructed wetlands for reducing nitrogen and sediment inputs from TOTs into natural stream systems.
