Project Summary: This proposed work aims to fill that knowledge gap by considering both feasibility of water reuse for Illinois power plant cooling and the associated downstream impacts to streamflow. The primary expected result of this project is a decision-aiding map (for mangers, policy makers, and academics) indicating areas where water reuse for power plants might be more or less suitable, based on watershed-scale dynamics.
