Project Summary: A one-day workshop will be held in Amherst Massachusetts to investigate the feasibility and level of interest in developing a statewide fluvial geomorphology program for the Commonwealth as a means for planning and setting policy along river corridors. Participants will be experts in the field and state and regional agency staff. The outcome sought is a plan to implement such a program in Massachusetts.
