Project Summary: The goal of this project is to evaluate and improve the Kansas Phosphorus Index (P]Index) using average annual P loss estimates derived from the Agricultural Policy / Environmental Extender (APEX) model. Attaining this goal will require calibration and validation of APEX with measured runoff data and then use of the validated model to evaluate the Kansas P]Index.
