Abstract: The Virgin Islands Water Resources Research Institute will collaborate with other regional organizations and the American Water Resources Association to co-sponsor the eighth in a series of conferences that have been held since 1984. The conference will take place in Puerto Rico in August and September of 2010. It is expected to draw about 200 participants from principally the Caribbean region. The conference will be titled the “International Specialty Conference and Eighth Caribbean Islands Water Resources Congress on Tropical Hydrology and Sustainable Water Resources in a Changing Climate” and will address water resources issues that are particularly relevant to small tropical islands.
