Project Summary: This is a proposal for organizing the Eighth Caribbean Islands Water Resources Congress. The activity will be sponsored by the Puerto Rico Water Resources and Environmental Research Institute (PRWRERI), the American Water Resources Association (AWRA), the U.S. Virgin Islands Water Resources Institute in collaboration with the Caribbean District Office of the U.S. Geological Survey. Jointly with the Congress, the AWRA will celebrate its International Specialty Conference. The main topic will be "Tropical Hydrology and Sustainable Water Resources in a Changing Climate". The activity will be held in August 2010 in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
