Education and Outreach for the Delaware Wetlands

Project Summary: The state of Delawares Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC) intends to improve the distribution of information regarding Delaware's wetlands. This project focuses on the development of visually appealing approaches to inform a wide variety of audiences about Delaware wetlands: 1) creating informational graphical illustrations showing the type and diversity of wetlands in Delaware; 2) designing advertisements for various media regarding the wetlands and 3) developing a series of articles for the Delaware Wetlands website and/or design literature for distribution among various audiences. This educational and informational outreach project is being conducted jointly by the University of Delaware and DNREC.
