Project Summary: The work proposed expands upon prior research efforts to include an examination of U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Corps) flood risk management programs and policies, and to explore opportunities for enabling the Corps to better work with other federal and non-federal agencies to improve program performance. Specifically, for this work effort, the contractor will provide research support and substantive written contributions to a study investigating Corps and other agencies' policies, programs, and economic evaluation procedures related to flood and storm risk management for the purpose of examining procedural or legislative changes that may allow the Corps to be more effective in working with other federal agencies, states and local governments and stakeholders in the management of flood risk in a watershed context.
