Project Summary: The information transfer activities of the IWRC are designed to encourage dialogue on water issues and disseminate information about solutions.

Specific information transfer tasks for 2008 will include the following.
1) Meet quarterly with the state of Illinois Water Plan Task Force;
2) Issue a newsletter to 700 subscribers;
3) Co-sponsor and help plan the Governors Conference on the Illinois River;
4) Hold the 2008 statewide Illinois Water conference;
5) Maintain a Web site for information transfer; and
6) Assist with planning and promoting the 2009 University Council on Water Resources Conference to be held in Chicago, Illinois.
