Project Summary: A major information transfer component for 2006 is the statewide WRRC water conference entitled, "Providing Water to Arizonas Growing Population: How Will We Met the Obligation?" The Arizona Water Resource newsletter is another component of WRRC outreach. The widely read publication provides timely information on water resources research and policy developments. WRRC personnel are called upon regularly to give lectures and make presentations to diverse audiences. They regularly collaborate with local, state, regional and federal agencies and organizations. The WRRC responds with public information to increased interest in water issues throughout Arizona and the region due to the rapid rate of population growth, continued drought, U.S.-Mexico water issues, and Colorado River Water concerns. The WRRC posts, on its web site, papers and presentations made by its staff as well as other important documents, such as working papers and research reports.
