Project Summary: The Wisconsin Water Resources Institute's (WRI) information transfer plan attempts to promote and coordinate water resources research; to enhance educational capability through training and public service; and to provide information to government agencies, the scientific community, the private sector, and the general public. To achieve these goals, the Water Resources Institute maintains a Web Site for the dissemination of water information; provides a library of water-related printed and electronic materials; offers library reference services to interested individuals; sponsors conferences; and publishes and distributes technical reports, proceedings, and a monthly listing of library acquisitions and new and noteworthy water web sites.
