Information

Summary of Edit Data Layer PIE The Edit Data Layer PIE has two functions.

Version history

Version 2.0.0.0 2000/12/07 Added help file and the ability to paste information into the table of data values.

For changes in versions prior to version 2.0.0.0, see the version history for the MODFLOW GUI.

Installation instructions (README file)

The directory EditDataLayer must be created underneath the ArgusPIE prior to extracting the files from EditDataLayer.zip. The ArgusPIE directory is usually located at c:\Program Files\Argus Interware\ArgusPIE.

Using a utility program that recognizes the zip compressed format and that preserves long filenames, extract the files from the distribution file into the existing installation of Argus ONE, specifically into the directory \Program Files\Argus Interware\ArgusPIE\EditDataLayer, being sure to set any options necessary to restore the directory structure stored in the distribution file.

For Windows NT 3.51, the file ctl3d32.dll (in the mfgui3.0 directory) should be placed in the System32 directory of the directory containing the operating system (Winnt). Ctl3d32.dll is not needed for Windows 95, Windows 98, or Windows NT 4.0.

C. USING THE EDITDATALAYER PIE

After the EditContours PIE is properly installed (see INSTALLING, above), the plug-in extensions will be automatically loaded when Argus ONE is launched. The individual procedures in the PIE may be called using the following menu items.

File|Import <layer name>|Contours To Data Layer File|Import <layer name>|Edit Data Layer A Windows Help file is included in the zip file. It documents the operation of the software. It can be accessed by clicking the Help buttons on dialog boxes shown when the procedures in the PIE are called.
