The SWI2: Seawater Intrusion Package pane is on the MODFLOW Features tab of the Object Properties dialog box. This pane is only visible if the SWI package is selected  and SWI Observations is set to either binary or ASCII.

The SWI2: Seawater Intrusion Package pane is used to define observations for either UCODE or PEST. If PEST is activated, the observation data will be processed using Mf2005ObsExtractor. Otherwise it will be processed with SwiObsExtractor.

The observations are defined similarly to how other observations for UCODE are defined. You must specify an observation name, time, Zeta (the observed value), Statistic, and StatFlag. For PEST, the statistic will be converted to a weight based on the choice of StatFlag. The observation must also specify the Zeta surface to which the observation(s) apply. ModelMuse will create an instruction file for post-processing with either Mf2005ObsExtractor or SwiObsExtractor. The postprocessor will interpolate in space and time to the location and time of the observation to generate a corresponding simulated value. The interpolation is done in the same way as head observations are interpolated in space and time in MODFLOW-2005.
