To define the hydrogeologic units of a MODFLOW model, the user adds or removes hydrogeologic units using the Add hydrogeologic unit 
, Insert hydrogeologic unit 
, and Delete hydrogeologic unit 
buttons on the left hand side of the MODFLOW Hydrogeologic Units dialog box.
The main properties of each the hydrogeologic unit is specified by selecting the hydrogeologic unit in the list of hydrogeologic units on the left and entering appropriate values on the tabs to the right. The user can select multiple hydrogeologic units by holding down the Ctrl key when selecting hydrogeologic units.
The MODFLOW Hydrogeologic Units dialog box has three tabs: Properties, Parameters and Print.
