MODFLOW 6 Example: Define Quadtree Refinement

The final step in our model will be to convert it to a Discretization by vertices grid and run the model again. We could have converted it earlier if we had wanted to. We will refine the grid around the multi-aquifer well and the stream.

1.Select both the stream and multi-aquifer well and open them in the Object Properties dialog box.

2.Set the quadtree refinement to 2 click OK to close the dialog box.

3.Select "Grid|Switch to DISV and the DISV grid will be created.
