In versions of MODFLOW prior to version 6, the user could designate a whole layer of cells as either convertible or confined. With MODFLOW 6, that is changed. With MODFLOW 6, the CellType data set is used to specify individual cells as convertible or confined. In this model, we will make all the cells in the top layer convertible.

1.Create an object that covers the entire top surface of the grid.

2.In the Object Properties dialog box, go to the Data Sets tab and set the formula for the Data Sets data set to 1.
