The General pane of the MODFLOW Output Control dialog box is used to control whether input data are printed in the listing file generated by MODFLOW and to specify comments that will be written to the beginning of the Output Control input file.
The Print input arrays checkbox controls whether the arrays of data such as arrays of hydraulic conductivity that are specified in the input files will be printed in the main listing file. Printing the arrays in the listing file helps document how the model was constructed. It also make it easier to check that the data was exported in the desired way. This is only for versions of MODFLOW before MODFLOW 6.
The Export arrays checkbox controls whether array data in certain MODFLOW 6 packages is exported to a separate file. It applies to the DIS, DISV, DISU, IC, NPF, DSP, CND, and MIP packages in MODFLOW 6 version 6.5.0 or later. At the time of this writing only some of these packages are supported by ModelMuse.
The Print input cell lists checkbox controls whether the lists of cells that are part of the input for many boundary condition packages will be printed in the main listing file. As with printing the input arrays, printing the input cells lists serves to document how the model was constructed and make it easier to check that the data was exported correctly.
The Print observation data checkbox controls whether the NOPRINT option is included in the various observation files. If the checkbox is checked (the default), the input and output from the observation process will be printed in the listing file.
Output suppression (LSTLVL MODFLOW-OWHM V1). LSTLVL allows suppression of some or all output to the listing file in version 1 of MODFLOW-OWHM.
The user can enter comments in the Comments text field. These comments will be reproduced at the beginning of the MODFLOW Output Control file.
