For MODFLOW and PHAST models, ElevationToModelLayer(Elevation) returns the model layer that contains Elevation at the X,Y coordinate that is being evaluated. ElevationToLayer differs from ElevationToModelLayer in that nonsimulated layers are counted in ElevationToLayer but not ElevationToModelLayer. For SUTRA and MODFLOW 6 models, ElevationToModelLayer is the same as ElevationToLayer.
