For MODFLOW and PHAST models, ElevationToLayer(Elevation) returns the grid layer for the current row and column that contains Elevation. For SUTRA and MODFLOW 6 DISV models, ElevationToLayer(Elevation) returns the grid layer for the current cell or element that contains Elevation. ElevationToLayer is used in the formula for the UZF_Layer data set. ElevationToLayer differs from ElevationToModelLayer in that nonsimulated layers are counted in ElevationToLayer but not ElevationToModelLayer.
