Start a new MODFLOW model and select "Meters" and "Days" as the length and time units respectively. If desired, the projection for this synthetic example can be set to "N/A" or "Not applicable."

After clicking "Next", set the number of layers to 1 and set the top of the model to 1 and the bottom to 0. Click the No Grid button to close the dialog box.
