2000 Block Group Boundaries

The coverage contains no demographic information; it provides only the GENERALIZED BOUNDARIES of block groups. Each block group is identified by a field (BGI) composed of state, county, tract, and block group number. This identifier is used to link the block group polygons with statistical data such as 2000 total population.
