Field Parameters Data retrieved from the NAWQA data warehouse November 14, 2003. Additional data for Columbia Plateau, Hawaiian, and Snake River were retrieved December 12, 2003. Original retrieval was missing data for Columbia Plateau, Hawaiian, and Snake due to POSV Condition and/or NDCODE Condition). Conditions used to retrieve original data are: Eliminate related sites, GW sites only, GW Chemical Environmental Data only, Primary POSV patch flag, Eliminate V coded data, Eliminate overlap sucodes, NDCODE IN 'ok', Remove set numbers and surrogate from search. After data was retrieved, it was edited to be used in analysis. Additional data for the Floridan aquifer was received from Marian Berndt October, 2003 and was appended to the retrieved data. This additional data was not yet available from the NAWQA data warehouse. Edits were as follows: An attribute, TYPE, was added and censored values were dealt with. A_00300 is the column with censored DO data modified for analysis. The most common censored value for DO was < 0.1. All Censored values less than or equal to 0.1 were set to 0.05 and any censored values greater than 0.1 (there were 3 of them) were set to NA. Estimated values were plotted as the estimated value
Major Ions Data retrieved from the NAWQA data warehouse November 14, 2003. Additional data for Columbia Plateau, Hawaiian, and Snake River were retrieved December 12, 2003. Original retrieval was missing data for Columbia Plateau, Hawaiian, and Snake due to NDCODE Condition). Conditions used to select data are: Eliminate related sites, GW sites only, GW Chemical Environmental Data only, Primary POSV patch flag, Eliminate V coded data, Eliminate overlap sucodes, NDCODE IN 'ok', Remove set numbers and surrogate from search. After retrieval, the data was edited for analysis. Additional data for the Floridan aquifer was received from Marian Berndt October, 2003 and was appended to the retrieved data. This additional data was not yet available from the NAWQA data warehouse. Edits were as follows: TYPE added and censored values were dealt with. A_00915 (Calcium) had one censored value that was much higher than other measured values so it was marked with NA and not used in analysis. A_00925 (magnesium) had 2 censored values. One was < 0.01 and the other was < 32.37. The 32.37 value was marked as NA and not used in analysis. The 0.01 was set to 0.005. A_01046 (Iron) had multiple censored values ranging from 3 to 100 (3, 9, 10, 15, 18, 30, 100). The most common one was 3 (748 samples); the next most common value was 10 (549 samples). Censored values 10 or below were set to 3 for analysis and the others were set to NA (a total of 9 values altogether). Estimated values were plotted as the estimated value
Nutrients Original data was received from Lori Apodoca September, 2003. This contains only Cycle 1 Nutrients data that was used for summary reports. Additional data for the Floridan aquifer was received from Marian Berndt October, 2003 and was appended to the retrieved data. This additional data was not yet available from the NAWQA data warehouse.
Radon Original data was received from Lori Apodoca September, 2003. This contains only Cycle 1 Radon data that was used for summary reports. Additional data for the Floridan aquifer was received from Marian Berndt October, 2003 and was appended to the retrieved data. This additional data was not yet available from the NAWQA data warehouse.
Trace Elements Original data was received from Lori Apodoca September, 2003. This contains only Cycle 1 Trace Elements data that was used for summary reports. Additional data for the Floridan aquifer was received from Marian Berndt October, 2003 and was appended to the retrieved data. This additional data was not yet available from the NAWQA data warehouse.
Pesticides Original data was receive from Dana Kolpin October, 2003. The data was loaded into INFO and the number of pesticide detections was counted for each sucode and each principal aquifer. Additional data for the Floridan aquifer was received from Marian Berndt October, 2003 and was appended to the retrieved data. This additional data was not yet available from the NAWQA data warehouse.
VOCs Original data was receive from Mike Moran September, 2003. The data was loaded into INFO and the number of VOC detections was counted for each sucode and each principal aquifer. Additional data for the Floridan aquifer was received from Marian Berndt October, 2003 and was appended to the retrieved data. This additional data was not yet available from the NAWQA data warehouse.
