Location: Tom Green County, near left bank at downstream side of bridge on county road, 0.6 mi southeast of Carlsbad, 1.5 mi upstream from Mule Creek, 2.5 mi upstream from Grape Creek, 16.2 mi upstream from O. C. Fisher Dam, and 21.3 mi upstream from mouth.
Period of Record: March 1924 to current year. Water-quality records: Chemical and biochemical analyses: October 1980 to September 1982. 1932(M), 1935, 1937-38(M), 1941(M), 1945(M), 1947- 49(M). WDR TX-81-3: Drainage area.
Gage Information: Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 1,968.02 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Prior to Feb. 4, 1925, and Sept. 27, 1936, to Feb. 7, 1937, nonrecording gage; Feb. 4, 1925, to Sept. 26, 1936, and Feb. 8, 1937, to Nov. 6, 1955, water-stage recorder, all at site 2.5 mi upstream at datum 32.76 ft higher.
