Name:
shift parser - A utility to parse an ADAPS Shift Analysis output into an rdb file for use in Tkg2 plots or other script applications.
Status:
Under evaluation. This script may not have enough general interest to support as an official OSW Script. However, it is a very useful utility for use in the other scripts, and it should be stable as long as changes are not made to the output of the shift analysis program.
Information:
This utility takes the text file of an ADAPS Shift Analysis and parses the measurement NUMBER, DATE, STAGE, DISCHARGE and SHIFT data out into a tab-delimited rdb file that can be used in other programs such as Tkg2 graphs.
The script also allows removal of measurements affected by ice or otherwise not needed in the final product.
Input to the utility is an ADAPS Shift Analysis file retrieved using SHIFT_ANLY. The file must be named (or renamed) "shiftanly". The script will look for a file of that name and will run automatically when you type "shift_parser".
The script will output three rdb files;
