Sorry for the delay, I was out of the office for an early meeting thismorning.

The New DRGS Receivers have the capability to monitor 16 channels at one time. Along with that they have frequency agility, so you can monitor other channels at different times.

They are (16 channel) around 40 - 45 thousand dollar, plus the dish and costs for setting up the concrete slab for the dish. For a complete system you are looking at 70 - 100 thousand dollars by the time you get the site prepped and everything up and running.

I am at a national USGS information technology committee meeting, and the question came up about the need for a backup to DOMSAT. You and Sutron have a DRGS setup, I believe. In order to monitor the two GOES satellites (East and West), we would need at least two DRGS setups in the country, and possibly two more as backups.

1. How many channels on the satellite can be monitored by a single demod with your DRGS?
2. What is the cost, per unit for a DRGS to completely monitor a single satellite?
