• A block of 20 rooms at the Best Western Senator Inn (5 minutes from the Augusta airport; 5-10 minutes from the USGS Maine office) has been reserved under the name of "USGS" for 8/15/05 through 8/17/05 (3 nights) at their Gov't rate of $60/night (includes free high-speed Internet access, indoor saltwater pool, and an outdoor pool). At the Gov't rate, we are not eligible for their "free full breakfast"; however, there is an Espresso Bar in the lounge of the hotel (for your favorite coffee drinks), as well as a variety of places to eat within a one-mile radius.
