ITAC Conference Call - July 13, 2010

Roll Call:

I. GoggleWave Trial - Bob Swanson felt that the notes were approved, it was pretty effective, and it may be used again.

• Need primary note taker
• Set ground rules
• No export function

II. Sharepoint - Set up and running

• Katherine was asked about data integration and such, she has yet to reply. Katherine is not sure of the question. If it is to ask Kevin why My USGS competes - the answer is that USGS wants to encourage more than one solution to a technology. She has yet to ask what USGS is promoting.
• David Mueller’s access is still pending (he requested external access).
• All templates, meetings, meeting minutes, action items...etc. are uploaded.
  ACTION – Bob Swanson will upload Iowa Face-To-Face minutes after webinar.

III. Firefox STIG - A link has been sent out to Macintosh users.

IV. Requirements for POA&Ms - DOI has set its standards very high.

V. Next Face-To-Face - An invitation to Hawaii has been received for the week of October 25.

ACTION – Katherine to wait until policies for FY 11 travel are discussed at Water Senior Staff before a decision is reached. This is not to "ask permission".

VI. Next Webinar - Thursday July 29 & Tuesday August 3

ACTION - Dave Berger will email information regarding the webinars to Katherine.
ACTION - Katherine to send out memo describing the webinars.

• Each presenter does 20 minutes.

VII. Streamview - Moving forward (had another conference call).

• Hopefully will go further than just the Grand Canyon.
