Tentative Agenda:

Discussion Notes:

  1. Review of Outstanding ITAC action items -- Brian McCallum
  2. Real-time Hazards Focus Group -- Scott McEwen
  3. Vote on Enterprise Agreement letter to be sent to Karen Siderelis
  4. June ITAC meeting agenda items -- Brian McCallum
  5. Grady:   "What is Correspondent Tracking Course" all about? What is the Department expecting from those taking the course; and why the push on taking it? -- Per Jessica Alvarez -
    ITAC,

Reading the ITAC minutes, the question was asked ...what is Correspondent Tracking course. It is a course to learn to use the Correspondence Management System that has been deployed in ER. Here is an email that was sent to the field introducing the system.

Basically, here is how I understand it works...you create a record in the CMS system (accessible through Lotus) and attach a document (Word, Excel) as you would in email or quickplace. The document is then stored in a database and can only be accessed by one person at a time..to make edits. The system keeps track of who has made edits. The system also allows for electronic signatures, sorta like the TMS system does.

Tech Wizard developed a similar system for the 7th floor, then ER and is now working with the other Regions.

Also see Lou's e-mail message to district offices and more

  6. Bill Horak feels that we need to be spending more time on NWIS and NWISWEb:
  7. June meeting attendees information:
  8. Brian: Town Hall time slot on agenda -- should it be moved? Some of the offices feel it should be a longer session for the town meeting -- and maybe it should be moved on the agenda to cover an entire afternoon vs time prior and following the lunch period.

  9. Katherine: Push the "HASS Support" -- through discipline offices as an agenda item at a later meeting. A draft is being finalized and can bring what is now evolving and report back to ITAC with a limited discussion). (15 minutes).
  10. Brian will identify which agenda items still needs additional write-ups.
  11. Katherine: Separate topic to be included on the agenda (1 hr ):
  12. Nelson: DOI Email / Communications Initiative issues / update:
