  Aug2002.Cyber.1 --- Mike Slifer - will write an email to invite the regional GIOs to the December ITAC meeting. Jim Brokow will be asked to present the status of the ITEM 2002 via phone at the minimum. Eastern Regional GIO, Mark Kutsko, will be invited because the meeting is in the Eastern Region. The consensus is that there is no reason to invite the Western Region GIO. The Regional GIOs are acting positions right now.

• Add ITAC Agenda Item:   Discussion on the Regional GIO ITEM 2002 agenda item.
• Add ITAC Agenda Item:   Handheld Field Computer Project -- Charlie Merk.
• Harry House is not available for the Oracle Agenda Item at the ITAC meeting; postpone until December.
• Add ITAC Agenda Item:   BASIS status agenda item: including Crystal reports, etc.
  Purpose:   To discuss the costs of Crystal Report licenses, training, and its possible substitute for some of the AIS reports currently being used in the District, etc. Crystal reports are running against an Oracle warehouse database. Isabelle Halley will ask Katherine Lins to invite Jan Morton to address the ITAC in September in person or via conference call. Jessie Alvarez will investigate who is the expert for Crystal Reports, and could present Crystal Report information in person or via a conference call. Sandy Williamson will discuss with Pat Vallance an ITAC agenda item on how WRD Adminisrative Officers use Crystal Reports.
• Add ITAC Agenda Item:   Information Architecture: WRD members report on status of Bureau Information Architecture Team.
• Add ITAC Agenda Item:   Report on Bureau Perspective of Bureau Information Architecture Team:   Kevin Gallagher.
• Add ITAC Agenda ITEM for Wednesday PM:   DIS - Future Roles.
• Add ITAC Agenda Item:   Town Meeting: DIS, NWIS Release; Field Computers, BASIS Status.
