Hello All,

To end off the week nicely I thought I would send out a head's up that certain sites should be expecting the arrival of Dell desktops that were purchased with an agency refund coupon. The RCSers and I discussed the coupon issue (with good input from the TAC groups and others) and came to the conclusion that a distribution to our less fortunate sites would be the best use of the coupon (valued at approximately 30K).

I came up with a configuration that was ok'd by the RCSers and given a once-over by CPAC. That configuration follows:

So, these systems should be arriving and will require a monitor (and speakers if you wish for them to be so equipped). The included list of sites and counts was compiled by the RCSers and if your site is on the list and you do not get your system(s) please contact me and we will get to the bottom of the problem.

It was good to be able to do this for the field, I only wish we could have found additional funds to allow us to provide more systems and replace all of the existing DG desktops. So, it is coming up on the end of another FY and if you have end of year funds, spend them wisely.
