Reminder regarding new Server Purchases |
All IT Investment Approvers,
When reviewing requirements that involve the purchase of a server, please ensure that the configuration does not include the purchase of the Operating System. The Operating System must be purchased exclusively from the Departmentwide Microsoft Enterprise Agreement. Please take the time to visit the site http://internal.usgs.gov/gio/computing/ent_agreement.html#topic5 and become familiar with the terms and conditions of the agreement.
Please share this information with all those who have a need to know. Thank you in advance for all your assistance and cooperation.
